There has always been a 'dark' overtone to Alice in Wonderland, and the sequel, 'Through the Looking Glass' which was much darker still, due to the fact that Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, {Lewis Carroll] was still recovering from the death of his father, who had recently passed away.

@otherFlawliet I wasn't aware that they had much darkness to them at all, they were intended to be a childrens book......granted so is the bible....... any way could you give me some examples of how something like THIS isn't completly twisting it around?

@greystone554 I was reffering to those books as well - I just mean that this is based on those books, not the disney film

@otherFlawliet which book's are you refering to? I was refering to the original version of the book from 1865 that disney and every other media company that trys to pass off old ideas as their own ripped off over a hundred years later.

@Kyuubiwar Alice in wonderland was a book written in the 1800s...disney did the movie years later
